Coach Phillip is a 1st Degree Blackbelt under Carlson Gracie Jr. and has also been training in Boxing and Muay Thai Kickboxing since 2006. He holds a 5-1 mixed martial arts record. He was the second 2 none flyweight champion in 2012 and the Absolute Action flyweight champion in 2012. He won numerous local Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, including the Extreme Grappling Open, Helio Seneca Tournament, Hoosier Open, Naga, and more. Coach Phillip has been coaching some of the best fighters in the region and pro locally since 2009. He has taught seminars at top name gyms across the country. And he has taught 5+ seminars in Brazil. Both Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. He has traveld across the country and to other countries training with Carlson Jr. Coach Phil is our resident MMA mastermind. He is also the owner and head coach of Area 502 MMA in Louisville, KY. Coach Blake wrestled for 4 years in high school where he won 2 regional championships and qualified for the state tournament twice. He wrestled at Lindsey Wilson college for three semesters. He is a purple belt under Phillip Perkins and has won numerous jiu-jitsu tournaments competing in the white and blue belt divisions for gi and
advanced level no gi competitions. Coach Blake has a 7-1 mma record and is on a 7 fight win streak. He is also currently going to school to get his bachelors degree in health and sports science.

Coach Marcus Hudson first began his martial arts journey wrestling all of his years in high school at Simeon Career Academy in Chicago Illinois. Once done wrestling he moved to Louisville where he began training Mixed Martial arts under Phillip Perkins. With over 10 years of combative experience coach, Marcus is a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and holds a mixed martial arts record of 4-2.
